Grey Seal Cub Pyttan 7

This Grey Seal was rescued from starvation after she was separated from her mother during a storm in the Baltic. Stranded in a harbour area, she was quickly found and delivered to the chief animal handler of the local Zoo, Skansen. As she requires 24 hour watch and feeding every third hour, she spent a few days in a bathtub until she can eat for herself and be relocated to Skansen.

I was given the privilege to visit her during this time; and she already developed typical Seal-in-front-of-camera traits, including but not limited to:
Making the perfect pose and then moving just before I take the picture
Looking into the Camera with the big, lovely eyes
Being very, very cute.

Since Sweden have few - if any - Seal rehabilitation centers, it makes the effort made by the people at Skansen even more valuable. This gal has very good chances to soon swim in the Baltic again!
